No worries, if you just joined it takes a little while to get pics up.

I purchased a used RR stock grill on craigslist, cut the upper mounting area to resemble the stock D1 mounting screw locations, removed stock D1 grill, cut the center portion out from top to bottom (KEEP THE LOWER MOUNTING PINS) you will need this for lower mount of the finished grill, so all your left with is the right and left corner of the stock D1 grill with lower mounting tabs, attach your D1 corner pieces using the lower mounting tabs, attach the RR grill to the stock upper mounting location, draw an outline where the RR grill ends that is laid over the stock D1 corners, then trim D1 corners with a Dremel tool (TOP LAYER ONLY) that you just have outlined from laying over the RR grill. Now reinstall both grill pieces to your D1 and align or trim as needed making sure that you did not trim out the back layer of the D1 corners as this is where you will rivet the front RR to the rear D1 grill. After your satisfied with the alignment and attach the two grills together using pop rivets, use kitty hair body filler (FIBERGLASS INFUSED BONDO) for strength, and shape. Once satisfied with shape use regular body filler for final shape, then sand, primer, and finally paint to the color of your liking. It can be done in a weekend. I can post pictures just need to remove the grill and take some as I didn't take pictures of the work I was enjoying the fumes and my hands where busy sculpting the Bondo no third hand or someone around me that could take pictures of the process.
