Recently purchased these off amazon.
Amazon.com: Nilight® 2 X 18w 1260lm Cree Spot Led Work Light Bar Off-road SUV Boat 4x4 Jeep Lamp 4wd: Automotive Amazon.com: Nilight® 2 X 18w 1260lm Cree Spot Led Work Light Bar Off-road SUV Boat 4x4 Jeep Lamp 4wd: Automotive

They seem as bright as my high beams. They are also 6,000k so its white not blue. I would recommend them, thinking about buying another set. The price is right

I've got these on the back of my truck. Weren't bright enough on the front. I've got one for reverse light and one as a work light. They work great in the back but not for lighting up the road or anything imo

I agree they aren't very good on the front but thats because they emit light in a cone shape unlike a headlight, which is a wedge. According to the specs on my sylvania headlights, the leds put out more lumens. Having said all of that I plan on putting them on the back.

1260 lumens is a joke, but those are pretty cheap. If you do plan on buying anything for the front, try and grab something with "3D" optics.

There are a few other names for it, but you can see the difference in the housing. It is a big improvement in light output.

Thanks for the link, 24,000 lumens for $327 is an amazing price. If only they were 5600k, then i could use them for film/video lighting.

There are PLENTY of places that can get you a 20,000 lumen light for under 500 bucks. Go to Pirate4x4 and check out the lighting subforum in the vendor section. The biggest difference (IMHO) with the cheap amazon/ebay lights and vendor ones is color temp. My roof bar is ~5500K or so.

I have the flood version of that saved on my wish list to use as backup lights. I don't think I would like them in the front though.

I got this Kawell 12" bar for Christmas, so I'll see how that works as a replacement for my PIAA driving lights. I've got the nilight spots on front replacing the factory fogs. They're definately brighter than the stock fogs but eventually they'll be moved to the back for reverse lights

I picked up some 2500 lumen each Sirius led h3 bulbs off of amazon for my hella 500ff lights. I was replacing the 100w halogen h3's which were pretty bright. But wow these LEDs kick the crap out of the halogens
