Default Lift Kit

I have an 89 Classic and I am looking to put some bigger tires possibly 285/75/16, what is going to be my best and least expensive option for getting enough lift to put bigger tires under it? Thanks

Either a 2" OME lift kit or a 3" RTE kit, you have no other options as using a body lift on old springs will make for the worst possible ride off road.

sorry but what brand is RTE and do you possibly what size tires I could put under it if I put like 2 inch spacers under the springs from Rovertyme? Thanks

RTE is rovertym.com If you put their 2 inch spacers you'll be able to fit a 265/75-16 or a 235/85-16. But I wouldn't recommend putting spacers. For a 2 inch lift just get yourself an OME or RTE setup. For a little more money than the spacers you get significantly better performance. And putting spacers under the worn out factory springs is unsafe, it raises your center of gravity and increases rollover chance.

Sounds like you are not familiar with Rovers and lifts. Consider sending me your tel number, I will be glad to walk you thru a possible lift.
