Default lift kit-2 choices

OK guys so I have narrowed it down and I have to make a choice between two lifts. But I can't make up my mind which would be better. And I know I will need alot more to finish the project....this is just the starting point lift.

Option A:
Rovertym 3" lift kit[*]3" Lift with Bilstein 7100 Series Shocks (For RRC, D90, D1 and DII)[*]Bilstein 7100 series shocks $720.00[*]RTE 3" springs $315.00[*]Front shock towers $96.00 (not required on DII)[*]Front lower shock mounts $35.00[*]Rear shock mounts $155.00 (not required on DII)[*]Rear spring retainers $45.00[*]Brake lines $26.00 each (4 or 6 lines required)[*][*]ABS Extensions $75[*]Crossmember Spacers $30[*]Bilstein Reducer Bushings $40Kit Price for DII - $1286.00

Option B:[*]Rovertym 2"springs $315.00[*]OME shocks $349.00 or Bilstein $379.00Brake lines $26.00 each (4 or 6 lines required)
And a 1.25" body lift
cost: about $950

Personally I'd go with option A, but with either one you go with, consider changing out your driveshafts for longer ones. 3" lift is right where they start to get to the upper limit and develop problems. I've heard of people being fine on the stock ones with that lift, and I've heard of people saying it was a no go within a few weeks. Just something to consider

yeah they are in the plans....but I will have to do some daily driving with the stock ones....no off-roading though.

Thanks for the input Hazletbassist89

Well I live in florida where it is mainly mudding with some ruts. However i am moving to Colorado for a few years and I hope to try out some rock crawling. Not too much since I have never tried it, but i at least want to give it a try. I will then be moving back to Fl so I kinda need both a mud and rock setup

I am ruuning an OME lift along with my SLS which measure an easy 2.5"s and that works well on the trails I have run in Colorado.
If it were going to be a weekend vehicle for crawling, I wouls look at the 3" but since it isn't I would not get too crazy with the lift, remember you will still be looking at traction issues to get you thru the mud and over our rocks.

OK I was also wondering, if I go with the 2" lift alone would any additional parts be needed? And if I did the body lift on top of it, would any parts then be needed? I am sure brake lines would be needed but what about the abs extention?

No ABS extensions are needed or other parts with a 2" plus lift.
