Lift kit advice
I enjoy trails with a moderate degree of dificulty. I need to start out slow to get back into it. i havent even driven on any trails in a couple of years.
I do not want to have to modify a lot of components at first, i realize i may have to do that in the future, but i want to keep it simple at first. I have seen some 2" lift springs from ome and i think rovertym, does anyone know what other parts need to be modified when those springs are installed (brake lines, shocks, driveline, bump stops, etc) also what size tire can i run without having to do any trimming?
thanks

Will you be adding a winch or bumper in the future, this will determine what 2" lift you should consider.
Other then coils, shocks and a steering stabilizer, the only thing you may want to consider changing would be the brake lines. The rubber lines do age and cause problems, the replacement stainless steel lines are a little long and don't wear out like the rubber hoses.

Since you will be adding that extra weight, I would suggest the OME 751 front springs along with the 762 rear springs, HD OME shocks and their steering stabilizer.
If you are at all mechanical, you can install it on your driveway in about 3 to 4 hours.

That is what I am currently running, slightly firm but with dual batteries front and rear custom bumpers a winch and sliders, I wanted the extra support.
If you don't want that firm a ride, use the 779 front coils with the 762 rears.
