looking for some info
Hi did any one use some thing like www.suicidedoors.com to up date the air ride ? thay have kits that will let you go up down side to side that would be cool if not let me i am looking for back up parts for the air ride. oooooo ps what is a good place to get after market parts (white gages grill clear lights all the good stuff) thanks
well i think air ride that you could go up or down and side to side would help with going over rocks and what not. I found air bags that would lift you up to 10" well i must not be in the right place!!!!!! owell thanks for all the helpfull info on all the other stuff latter
I have seen adjustable airbag suspension for offroading where the coil is replaced with a airbag. You would want to protect the air line very good or you could be sitting on your axles. What year and model are you working on? Never hurts to try something new. I am a machinist, and I am always modifiying something.

it is a 1996 with the 4.0 and just got it for 5,500 with 100k on it. The air ride works good but i would like to up date it. I like to play on big rocks and some dirt. this is my old jeep
Unless you are planning on changing out the bags and controls, you don't have many options.
I have seen a couple that have been lifted wuth spacers and kept their air system, thats about all I know of unless you go to an aftermarket air system.

ok first off, if your looking at suicidedoors.com ... your in the are where your going to lay frame with your rover... i had an 04 silverado show truck bagged and body dropped and those are the bags you use for that type of setup. you CAN use the bags on a lift- but it really isn't worth it- thats mostly for show.... but like stated b4 you would have 2 place spacers and such and it's really alot of work- puts alot of strain on your driveline angles and such. unless you want 2 dish out alot of cash- just 4get about it... from experinece with a show truck- i wouldn't recommend it if you dont have patience and money....
