LR3 intake mod...

Default LR3 intake mod...

i removed the "baffle" in the intake tract & replaced it with 3"ABS plastic & plumbing clamps. my test piece was the plastic tube from the Meguiar's interior wipes. it is about 5x's louder than normal even with stock exhaust. it "feels" faster but not by much. i still gotta slap a k&n & that sweet quad exhaust from Kahn. here are a couple pics.

I hope you kept the old pieces so when you go into the dealer you can reinstall them. If you throw a code and they see that they have the right to disallow a warranty claim.
If you are looking to improve the intake go for a snorkle, you'll take in less dust and actually get a bit of a forced air effect.
