Default Removing front muffler.

Have got rattle coming from front muffler. Can I remove this an replace with a straight pipe without doing damage or having to tune? Td5

Thx for reply mike. Don't mind if is louder an would like a bit of turbo whistle. As long as not doing damage to motor, cause rattle is driving me crazy. :-)

You "can" remove it. It will effect nothing but sound.

As it turns out was not muffler, was in fact the cat. So removed the guts of it an welded shut again. Now can hear turbo an has improved performance a noticeable amount. Was really struggling to keep above 80kmh on a long hill. Am hoping no damage will be done with the better flow.
