Default Safari Rack

Recently decided to take on the task of building my self a safari rack. Got the whole project finished for around 130$.. This included the metal (1" galvanized EMT, 100' 60$), 8'x4' sheet of expanded medal 35$, hardware 15$ And 20$ in paint.. The whole setup would've cost be around 1000$ to buy anything remotely similar. But custom fabrication is by far more fun!!

how did you mount it?

I bough all the pipe myself with a 1" pipe bender. Because it's all EMT conduit it was much easier and lighter to work with than steel (but a lot harder to weld). I made my own mounts of some 90 degree carpentry brackets. I'll post a picture of them as soon as I can

Haven't found a max weight.. I'm approx. 200lbs and have stood/slept on top without any sort of bending or flex.. So imagine between 300-400.
