Thanks for this post! I just picked up the Bill Burke Husky Winch with worm drive. The prices are insanely cheap. I was going to be waiting on this one as I expected to spend over $2,300. Picked it up with free shipping and tax for $1500 out the door! Now I just need to get a new front bumper so I can mount it

 

I had a look at the site. I just spent the wife's budget on ARB lockers and these winches are really a excellent buy :-) but one thing at a time I got to spend on R&P gears to reduce my ratios to 4.71(7x33) GBR's products

 

I have gotten an ARB bumper on order for my 03 Disco II. See Model below:

ARB Deluxe Bar Land Rover Discovery II 2003-04 (3432120)

Will these Superwinches fit onto this bumper? If so, which one would you order. I know ARB says the optional winch they suggest is the Warn XD9000. Dont have that much money for an occasional use item.

Also, anyone heard of "Rough Country" winches. Rough Country: Recovery Systems
