Default syn winch cable instal help

ok got my tjm synthetic rope, I removed my wire cable changed the lead to aluminum, now I am stumped a little

on my winch the cable goes through a hole in the drum and a grub screw tightens direct against the cable

TJM rope has just a flat copper tab on the end

do I make the tab, crush it to fit in hole? tighten the screw on it ?

I cannot imagine I screw into the rope, should I change the end to an eyelet? and use a bolt on the jamb screw hole?

btw rope was 160 something shipped on amazon, reusing my hook, high polish smittybuilt fairlead 20 something shipped

most cost effective way I could find, rope is dated 2012 has sleeve new in box

this is the 3/8" rope 19K ? rating, TJM Australia rope mfg in china lol

Synthetic line needs to be wrapped on itself like in the link below. Its Ok to use electrical tape to keep it in position on the drum while you spool in.
