Default timing cover oil supply and return thread sizes

Hey guys im looking for some help with the thread sizes. I have a 03 disco with no factory oil cooler. Im getting tired of watch high water temps. Id like to build a oil cooler kit that uses the timing cover oil supply and return ports. What i need to know are the sizes of the threading and if it is an npt fitting or a-n fitting.

Ive used a company called fragola before for my subaru sti and it worked great. Id like to order an oil cooler kit with electric fan but not looking to use the sandwich adapter because the adapter im currently useing runs my oil perssure and temp.

Ill try to dig up a pic of the timing cover. One port i believe is on the bottom and the other is the highest of the two on the passanger side of the timing cover.

Any info would be great. Thanks

I just added an oil cooler to my 03, but I just found a new OEM oil cooler and purchased the supply and return lines off eBay. One of the ports is right between the oil filter and the oil pan, the other a couple of inches above the oil filter on passenger side. I do not know the thread size, just that it took a 7/8 inch wrench to remove the plugs and to install the lines. I just wanted to do it as simple as possible, and the fitting was perfect.

Thank you joemama i needed that. Im purchasing a flex a lite cooler and fan combo. And i think the supply and returns line from the cover would give a better flow than the oil filter sandwich plate.

I agree, Not a big fan of the sandwich adapter, although it does have its place in certain situations.
