Train Horn on a P38
I bought the vehicle with the EAS replaced with springs. However everything else tied to the vehicle is still in place. I need to know what is the psi range for the factory air compressor so that I can use the tank for the horns.
Also has anyone else done this modification?
I know what your thinking, but if you lived in the land of idiot drivers aka Portland Oregon you would understand where I'm coming from.

It sure can,
Just get a pressure switch to cut off at about 120 psi. My 95 classic had the air to coil, I just used the tank, pump, and hoses. I rerouted the tubes for the horn and air compressor. I also installed an aftermarket pressure switch and re located my pump under my hood. I'm not sure if you can reuse the existing "electrical" system due to the "brain" controlling the air bags.
I did the swap a year or two ago.
check out my video, kinda long...
