Default underbody "waxol" treatment

i saw an ad for an underbody spray called "Waxol" or something... the 4x4 Center in Burlington (where my Disco is serviced) performs the service

apparently they powerwash the underbody, and then spray it down with this "Waxol" substance which apparently coats it and protects it from rust and little nicks

has anyone had this done/done it themselves? i was wondering if it was effective and how much it cost

This is a very good process, you will want to crawl under the truck with a flash light and check every square inch for rust rot, which should be taken care of prior to the treatment.
If I were back there I would have the treatnebt done, by the way, what are they charging to do this?

haha, I actually did not ask about price as I assumed it would be extremely expensive and therefor didn't bother... but i will certainly look into it.

I've read that it's possible to do it yourself... but i feel as though having the truck up on a lift would make it SO much easier.

It is a little pricey but well worth it from the stand point of rust prevention.
