Want to install some offroad lights on my roof rack
Hey all,
I just got around to buying my roof rack and some offroad lights. I have also made a wiring loom to use and it works well, but my next question is:
Where is the best place to drill into the firewall to feed my wires through to my switch?
I have tried placing my rocker switch inside the existing blanks spots and the rocker switch is too big. I have thought about making in fit in there through some light modification with my Dremel. Either way, I still need to get the wires back there somehow. Has anyone known a good spot to do that?
I appreciate the feedback.

There is enough give in the grommets to squeeze some extra wiring through, you dont say what vehicle but there are smaller switches available that will do the job or use a factory switch in one of the blanks.
And these grommets are located on the drivers side ? I saw some on the passengers side as well but didn't think those would be of use.
I've got an 04' disco and just finished my roof rack, added a 50" curved LED light bar and 2 3" LED'e on the back... Wired down the B pillar and went through the grommet on driver side and up the steering column shaft
