I recently bought a used 2018 TD6 Luxury and I love the thing. A few weeks into ownership, I hopped in and the low battery warning flashed on the screen. I thought maybe I left a light on or something, it didnt happen again for a couple more weeks. Then it started happening more frequently, almost every time we got in it, low battery. I was about to take it in when I noticed, one day after we had parked it in the driveway, all the lights for the various transfer case selections, including Lo and the Autostart light were flashing, 20 minutes after we had parked the car. I realized that they would do this until I started it again, killing the battery overnight. My original fix, dont let the autostart kill the engine when you park it, use the ignition button. So we got used to turning the autostart off and it seemed to solve the problem, except, it came back. Now we have to restart and turn off the vehicle, sometimes a couple times, before it stops doing this. Anyone had this problem? Its almost like losing what mode the transfer case is in and just blinks.
You don't have LowJack, or scanner or anything else installed on your Disco?
I have the same problem, occasionally when I plug ScanGauge in it.
Disco software in such occasion will not let the car go to sleep and it will kill the battery.
There suppose to be software update for the issue, but my local dealer butchered the update.
Similar story - low battery warnings (on a less than 1 year old battery). Then it died requiring CAA / AAA boost service to get home. Bought a Dewalt battery charger with recondition mode, problem has gone away,
Also: Check the battery age. Costco US & Canada have 7 year warranty.
Appreciate all the suggestions. Went and got new tires put on it and while it was in the shop had them test the battery. Shop told me the battery was still good but sitting at around 40% charge. I took it home that night and connected the battery to a charger and all the problems slowly went away. A few days after charging everything worked as it should. Still have a couple little annoyances like the front left parking sensor constantly screaming at low speed but, for the most part, it's gremlin free.
