Default 2022 HSE - gap between tailgate blind and load space cover

I have a 2022 HSE. It seems a little odd that there is about 1 inch of space between the load space cover and the tailgate blind (see pic).
Just wondering if others have the same situation.
It’s almost like they put a shorter blind from a different model year in by mistake.

Got it. Thanks for taking the time to take a photo and reply!!

I'm not a big 3rd-party-accessory guy, but if someone knows of a tailgate blind that is a better fit than the OEM (!), I'd be happy to hear about it.

That gap is way less than mine. Mine is about 4 to 6 inches. Do you have a flat panel that attaches to the tailgate that meets up with the sliding shade? I have 3 rectangular openings in my tailgate that look like they would accept a panel that I do not have.

Here's a picture of mine. There's probably a gap of about 9 inches from the end of the cargo cover to the inside of the tailgate when the tailgate is closed.
I'm not sure what's missing. Do you have a panel that attaches to your tailgate to close up that 9 inches? Can you please attach a similar picture so I can see what I'm missing?
