Just like any AT tire there is road noise, but not enough to disturb normal conversation in the cabin. These are snow peak rated tires and are great in the rain too. I bought them as they hit the market and had no idea what to expect... very impressed and glad I took the chance. Yes... year-round use is recommended.

UPDATE: I spoke with my local tire shop and there is a very short supply of tires (surprise surprise). The three (3) currently in stock are the Continental Cross Contacts, Continental Terrain Contacts, and BF Goodrich Trail Terrain T/A. I read reviews on the two (2) Continental and BF Goodrich suggestions. The BF Goodrich seems like the best option, especially with their off-road reviews and severe snow rating. Any experiences with the BF Goodrich's?

I have ran BFG's since 1985. Never had a complaint. Currently running KM3 Mud Terrain . The Key with any AT and or MT, is rotation/balance.
Good luck!

UPDATE: I purchased and had the BF Goodrich Terrail Terrain T/A installed. Ride is good. They are a bit noisy on the road relative to the Pirelli Scorpion Zero (OEM) but will see how they change once I have a few hundred miles on them. Thanks for all the help!
