So, just got back from the cabin at 9000ft. Though it is just a logging trail getting up there, more rains and no maintenance at all this year had it in pretty washed out - bad shape. So, I went ahead and put the Disco in 4low and popped the AS up a notch. Sorry I did not take pictures.

Weird though that when we got to the cabin, outside the vehicle, there was a pretty heavy smell, like a hot electrical smell? It seemed more prevalent on the PS of the vehicle. No CEs or problems, just a smell like wires were getting toasty.

Anyone else experience this?

 

probably the clutches and viscous couplings getting hot doing their work
