Note that production of the Discovery moved over the new Nitra assembly plant in Slovakia, which opened for regular production in October 2018. It's a very modern plant and I would wager the build quality has to be greater than it was prior to. Look at the 11th digit in the VIN, a 2 is for Nitra and an A is for Solihull.

You must of been a 'remainer' lols

Bet Germans don't think BMWs should be made outa Germany!
so you must have a low opinion of Land rover and fellow Brits (giving him/her a UK manufacturing job)

BTW I just got an early Disco 5 and it's lovely

A bit off topic but BMW has a huge plant in South Carolina in the US making X series among other things. As for some other Germans, Mercedes has one in Alabama making at least SUVs.
