My Disco 5 suddenly has ambient lighting in the door panels... shines down from under the door armrest, on the door release handle and in the door cubby/cup holder. This appeared over the weekend after almost two years of ownership. I did not do anything different, do not see any controls for the lighting in the settings menu and nothing about it on my original spec sheet I was given (bought off the lot new in NC).

I really like it and hope it does not suddenly disappear! Anyone else experience this added bonus?

 

Look in your In Control EXTRA FEATURES and you can change the color too.

 

Nope... Not in the extra features. First place I looked!

It definitely adds a very nice luxury touch to my Disco at night!!! They do dim with the little dial to the left of the steering wheel in tandem with the dash lights so maybe the little Gremlin decided it was time to turn them on.

The temperature did get into the low teens (F) here for the first time since I got it in early 2020... We'll go with that.

mine don't dim in tandem with the dash and screen, the little dial doesn't affect them at all. They dim from the controls in the setting screen,
