Back door problem
I'm looking for some help to get my back door to close better. I pulled away with the back door open slightly and it swung open violently. As I tried to close it the door wouldn't close because the door was much lower at its outside end so scraped on the bumper. Looking at the hinges the door is now pushed tight against the lower hinge bracket whereas the top hinge has a gap. I have tried loosening the bolts on the vehicle side of the hinges and lifted the door a little but it makes no difference to the closing of the door because the lower hinge is still pushed in tight to the door creating a constant downward angle.
I have also tried loosening the single bolt behind the black plastic cap but there seemed to be no adjustment there.
There must be somewhere I can loosen the hinge where it connects to the door surely to lift the door and recreate the gap between door and hinge.
Piicture attached of bottom hinge.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
