Default Anybody able to reset service indicator on MY18 or later

Has anyone been successful in resetting service indicator on MY18 (or later?). I followed procedure outlined elsewhere on this forum and while it kinda seemed to work - I still get service warning indicator (so it did not work). I am OK with purchasing modestly priced (say below $300) OBD2 scan tool as long as it works...

Thank you

What process did you follow? Engine off with ignition on (press start without pushing brake pedal). Open drivers door. Hold down brake and accelerator pedal for 30s (some people say a minute, mine is much quicker than that)
Then ignition off

Didn't that work?

If not, are you sure it's a routine service reminder and not some other sort of error?

Yes that was the process. It appeared to be working (car's behavior was consistent with what was expected) but after I was done (and I tried few times) I still get service remainder (something like "service due") message. My car is body shop but when I get it back I can take pic of warning I am getting.

I have a '17 and followed the above procedure. It says it that it resets, but the mileage doesn't change in the next service menu.

Same here, tried the manual procedure a few times but the counter keeps saying 0.
I even tried one of those diagnostic tool tablets, and I got an error saying that the procedure failed.
