Default Anyone order a MY' 23 Metropolitan Edition?

Anyone have an order in for the 23' Metropolitan edition?

Dealer seems to be dangling this to me if I want the full digital display (Interactive Driver Display) versus the analog display. They are "waiting for confirmation".

Would be an extra 2k for the Metro from my R-dynamic HSE.

What? I think the analog gauge was just around the first year or two (2017 and 18?). A 22 HSE is totally going to have digital gauges.

No - due to chip shortage they are having to produce some with manual gauges again. Amazing I know...

The 'special editions' rarely hold the extra cost. But if you want digital gauges it may be your only option. Or try another dealer?

My dealer said only metro edition gets the interactive display so you should get it.

Please see my other thread for more context

2017 was the only year for analog gauges.

Aesthetically, I prefer the analog (which I have), but that's just me.

Ammonation - I had the very same issue 2 weeks ago and was not prepared to go back in tech terms. I ordered the Metro Edition, D300, in Carpathian Grey. In the end the difference was only around £20 per month on the finance and there is a stack of extras you get for that.

Yea we tried, my salesman is adamant no Discovery will have the Interactive Display even the Metro. I don't think he is intending to lie, I just think they deal with so little Discovery's he doesn't know the correct answer and hasn't given it the time of day to research it.

I hope for your sake he is wrong.

I think I am going to try to get one installed once it is delivered. It will have the smaller digital display in the middle so I don't see a reason why changing the speedometer over from analog to digital should be an issue. Not like it is a pre 2020 model.

My salesman told me it won't be available in any of the trims. However, he told me it could be available at the time when my car will be built. He mentioned something similar, like electric tow bar not being available and suddenly it was in december, thus they fitted it. I live like 70km away from the factory. The salesman mentioned that even general manager of the factory (landrover slovakia) is waiting for his slot for defender over 9 months, even though he could force it. It's just really sad situation.
