Default B Pillar Ticking Seat belt noise

I have a 2022 Discovery and when I am driving there is a ticking noise coming from the where the seatbelt attaches to the B Pillar. Does anyone have a similar problem or know of a solution?

I don't know if this is what it is.
I learned a few years ago about seat belt pre-tensioners. It's a device on the seat belt that works with the air bag restraint system. It takes up any slack in the seat belt and locks it tight if the air bag deploys and has proven effective at reducing injury.
Again, I don't know if that's what's ticking but I would have it checked out.

Tell me what you find out. I can easily hear it in my 2023 and 2022 disco but the dealer says they can't

I’ve noticed that the buckle will swing and bump against the plastic making a noise in my 2018. I push it up against the plastic at the top where the belt goes behind the trim and that solves it. Happens on both sides. My rear belts aren’t used very often so this works for me but it’ll be “undone” any time the belts are used.

This. Whenever I have passengers in the rear seats I have to remember to snug up the buckles or else they will "rattle" and drive me crazy.

Mine have the soft side of Velcro on them to stop them rattling against the B pillar. Wonder if that was original or an add by my dealer when they were fixing a rattle issue.

I’d guess add-on. One that’s now going to be added to mine 😁

Mine came with that standard. However it still needs to be snugged up to the top to keep from rattling.
