Default Battery Size and Type

For a 2017 HSE Si6 does anyone have the size and Ah rating? It's not listed and I haven't had a chance to pull the covers and check the existing battery.
Strange that it doesn't come up in the online search boxes when I enter my vehicle on OReilly or Napa or Interstate.
Thanks in advance. I might not have a chance to say thanks in the next few days.

When Land Rover replaced the battery in my 2017 HSE Si6, they put in part number LR104511. I just went outside and opened the battery cover, but the brackets covered half of the label, so I only saw the part number.
Searches on that part list the battery as 850cca; 95Ah
Advance Auto lists an exact fit as:
AGM Valve Regulated Lead Acid [VRLA] is required; OE Exact Fit; OE Spec: OE Group H8 AGM; OE CCA 850; Battery Spec: 900 CCA; 1000 CA; 160 Minute Reserve
95 Ah

Thanks very much for that reply. Advance Auto was one of the places I looked online but didn’t see a listing. I will look again.

By the way my original battery is still going strong after over 5 years but I am considering replacement before it lets me down.

You're welcome. This is where I found the battery on Advance:
https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...000%7CL3*15597
then add vehicle year, type, etc.
At least, that's how it pulled up for me.

It did come up when I followed your link. But when I just went to website first and added my vehicle it doesn’t list Discovery under Landrover. Same with Interstate and others. I’ll probably buy an interstate from Costco. Website says $185 but I haven’t been to the store to check yet.

FYI, the Interstates from Costco aren't the same as from a dedicated dealer. Not saying their "less than", but they're slightly different formulations due to the deal IB cut with Costco and the fact that their regular dealers screamed that they were being undercut. The regular dealers get the premium product.

Costco batteries are great. Go that route.

You could also try to find DEKA brand batteries. I have had a few in my old series truck. Really good quality. I think DEKA provides some private label batteries for NAPA. Although I'm not sure.

Just make sure you DO NOT install a lead acid battery. AGM or other sealed battery. You don't want acid spilling out of the battery and onto the various wires/other pieces in the battery compartment. This is a bad time.

Okay, I measured my battery while still installed today so I could be off by 1/16 or 2/16 inches.
My original battery says Excide and Jaguar Land Rover on it.
It is 7-3/16 inches high
6-3/16 inches wide at the body of it, about 6-7/8 inches wide at the bottom where it is held by the clamps
13-7/16 inches long at the body of it, about 13-7/8 inches long at the bottom where it is held by the clamps

Here's the problem: The H8 battery is the same height and width but is 15 inches long
There's no room with the existing clamps to put in a 1 inch longer battery than what's in there unless when I remove it the bottom lengthwise clamp has an adjustable bracket.
I can't see tha attachment for the bottom lengthwise clamp without removing my battery first.

I plan to stop at the dealer next week and measure the genuine LR part, then I guess I'll have to pull my battery and check the clamps.
I looked at an online chart with all kinds of battery designations and dimensions and didn't even see one that matches what I have.
This is strange.
