Default Connecting a Classic (non-bluetooth) ipod to the 2020 Discovery

How can I connect my classic ipod, which does not have bluetooth, to my Discovery's audio system?

There is no hardwire connection. You're best bet would be get a 3.5mm bluetooth transmitter like the one below. Or you could transfer everything off that dinosaur

Amazon Amazon

If you plug it into the center console with a usb cable will it read it like a USB flash drive? That worked on one of my older cars. Otherwise just copy the music to a USB stick and jnsert inside armrest.

I haven't tried yet. But I will. Both good ideas anyway. Thanks.
However, when I plugged it into my laptop, it just showed several empty folders. But it's a Microsoft laptop.

I have a 2012 iPod Touch I just plugged it into the USB port and it shows up on the screen with full functionality. It has BT also, but that is turned off because it conflicts with my iPhone (I don't have music on my phone).

Good to know. I have a 2007 iPod without bluetooth. Hopefully it will work, too. I haven't had time to check.
