Does anybody know of a good way to prevent spare tires getting stolen?

My discovery five was fitted with an anti theft system ,but it looks like the thieves are now just drilling holes directly into the winch to break the cable and free the spare wheel. All of this happens literally within seconds even with the upgraded protection. Is this a common problem now and is there an easy remedy to fix .

 

I've got locking lug nuts and they seem to do the trick. I however don't live in a sketchy neighbourhood so that might Tutuapp 9Apps Showbox also help.

I thought there was a recall or update which LR applied which was very similar to what Powerful UK was providing but FOC as it was LR?

That is on TOP of shipping costs. Looks to me like a VAT claw-back for them - price increase for outside of UK customers.
But hey, they make great videos !

I just got mine this week from Overlanding Equipment & Accessories Online - 4x4overlander
I do not get any compensation or bonus from them in any way shape or form. The ordering process was very straight forward, and transparent. A lot cheaper than Powerful UK ( no VAT included for US ).
Shipped to US in 5 days by DHL.
I am really happy.
