Default Download symbol showing on Incontrol

Hey folks. I picked up an approved used MY18 a couple of weeks ago and decided to update the incontrol software whilst having a play with the new car. The software updated successfully to the latest 19c version and thought no more of it. I also updated maps. A day or two later I got a little download symbol (downward arrow pointing at a horizontal line) appear in the top left corner of the display.

I've checked if there are any updates available but I'm fully up to date on everything, and the download symbol won't go away. Anybody had the same issue or know what I can do to get rid of it? It's driving me mad!

Just in case anyone else gets the same issue, it persisted for 2 months, until last week it looks like it's been cleared following the latest update S20a_20.16.5-536345. Very odd but at least it's sorted.

So 20a is now available?

The Infotainment system was not well executed and seems to be an afterthought on the D5. Probably a cheap 3rd party due to the small JLR footprint.

Yes I think it was released a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure who they outsource the hardware/software to, but the MAC address in the Incontrol system can be traced to LG as a manufacturer, although it may just be for the wifi hardware

It looks like that the 20A version finally being distributed. I just downloaded for my 2018 in North Carolina.

20A was released earlier this year but then stopped.

I checked for a software update yesterday and it said I was up to date. I'm on the final version of 19D or E I think. So maybe it hasn't been pushed out to Texas yet.

I haven’t used the vehicle for a couple of weeks but when I got in yesterday and checked for updates manually it told me 20A was available.
Maybe they randomly select VINs or do them in some sort of batches?
