Just came across this - Looks like LR makes factory aluminum front crossover pipes now.. haven't seen it posted here. Matt1rrs on rangerovers.net originally posted photos.

Part numbers:
LR186859 & LR186917. Both run about $220-230 total from various sites. Haven't ordered them yet, but will probably be going with these over the euroamp pipes for peace of mind.
Will be putting out an FAQ of part numbers, everything that should be looked / replaced etc. when I have more time.

 

Did you ever get to ordering and replacing these with the factory aluminum pieces?

When I search those part numbers, the Land Rover dealer shows these parts are for the V8 Defender.
