Replaced my OEM pads at around 70k, rears were to the wear indicator, fronts still had life left in them. I replaced them with Ferodo Eco-Friction fronts/Fuse+ rears (same pad material) and new rotors, 20k miles later and the rears are almost to the wear indicators, fronts are about 30% left.. do not recommend. Giving the Akebono Euro's a shot.

I get 35K on pads.

I change the pads @35K

@70K I change the whole kit again.

The Akebono's are great. I used them on my heavy LR3 and L322. Couldn't find them for my Disco5 so I went with PowerStop Z36 pads, which have been flawless.

 

Great to know! I was considering the Porterfield R4S pads, but not a race car so decided on the Akebonos. Will look into the z36 next time around.
