Default Has anyone tuned the TD6?

Or am I going to be the first? I had every piece of software updated, lot more than just the in control, so got her back and have contacted VelocityAP to place my order.

I have not but I’m keen to hear your thoughts if you get it done.

Velocity AP is great. Stuart there is too notch.

I went through them for my Range Rover Sport and am sitting at 606HP now.

My only concern is the 2017+ I believe had a different software and are not as readily abalible to tune since they need to send you a loanser device to read your stock file and place the tune.

I don't find the TD6 on their site. For NA at least. What are they offering?

it’s the same as the RRS tune. Same engine and tranny they said it’d be no problem. 325HP and 606ft/lbs tq plus better shift points.

Going to do the ChipExpress tune myself - https://www.chipexpress.com/products...ng-boxes/5609/

Numbers don't seem as good as Velocity, but it is half the price.

WOW. That's quite an increase! I've sent them an email asking, but maybe you know.... Since our 2019 D5 is leased, we'll need to ultimately turn it back stock. Is that easy/free to do? And, do you have to go back to stock for annual inspections?

i cant really tell you that one but they’ll mail you a tuner and they’ll send it to you when needed to program it back.

Yup I had an email exchange with them wherein they confirmed that. Unfortunately, they can't really guarantee 100% that 'evidence' of the tune won't show up and in some way void the warranty. If I owned the car, I'd do it. Those numbers are too gaudy to pass up. But with the lease........
