Years ago, this was a classic sign of a leak in the heater . . . any sweet smell from antifreeze?

Hello, from my own experience I would check the upholstery on the passenger's feet because it is the place where the most water accumulates. I didn't realize it until I was having a hard time removing moisture from the windshield and front windows. Greetings.

Yes - for me a small amount of damp on the passenger footwell. I have rubber mats on the floor and there was a small patch of water even after not using the car for a couple of days. Not much, but noticeable. Others have had much more volume. I wouldn't have noticed if it was just carpet.

In my case I noticed a little moisture when I touched the carpet on the floor, when I lifted it to check it was a lot of water, we must bear in mind that both the carpet and the foam inside it can absorb a lot of it.

So, i had my 2017 Discovery 3.0 TDI HSE 3 years. I just love the automobile but can`t stand that my front window on the left hand third fogs up as well as front/rear windows. I have tried every combination of A/C - Auto - heat wind shield. Front window gets better when window heater is on, but this turns of automatically after approx 5 minutes and then windows starts to fog. I have NO leakage and single driver (no breath from5 people) and i have NO damp carpets. Had 150.000 km service today (1600€) and i hoped new filters would solve it, it did not. The front window blower is to central and does not reach the egdes of the window. This must be a fabrication shortcoming. I`m now thinking to trade in the car - impossible to drive with foggy windows. Anyone else experience this to the degree i am?

we had this issue with a 2018 discovery. The dealer ended up replacing the window and seal under the recall about 8 months ago and haven't had an issue since. We never had wet floors either. Hope that helps.

Thanks! What does "the recall" actually mean? and this might maybe solve the front window?! - the A pole in front of side front windows is so thick i does not allow the side blower to reach the the front of the windows - so that foggs up as well - any problems on your side with that?

There was a recall due to the front windshield not being properly sealed. so Land rover covered the cost of a new windshield and labor.

we had issues where the entire inside was fogging up and then freezing in the winter. These pictures show how bad it was. Since that fix, zero issues. my uneducated understanding is that the blowers reach everywhere enough and move the air accordingly - but with the additional moisture getting inside from the car from the windshield, the system couldn't keep up.
