Disappointed to find out the Cooper Discoverer AT 275/55/r20 did not fit my 2018 Discovery. I was thinking they would because everyone else seems to fit 275s on theirs without a lift. They said the tire was hitting the shock 🤷 they're $928 post tax for a set of 5! Too bad.

Im running the 275/55/20 rugged trek coopers which are the more aggressive one and they fit perfectly fine don't know why the AT ones wouldn't fit?

https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/904927312 it looks like a good tire for the price

I'm on an OEM wheel too. Stumped and an hour wasted at Walmart.

The Rugged Treks are awesome and would highly recommend. They were noisy for me on my Grand Cherokee, but assume the sound dampening is better on the Disco.

Did you actually check to see if they were hitting the shock? When mine went on, they stopped the installation because of the same thing. When I looked, there was less than 1/8" clearance, but it did not actually touch. Since the two move together, if it doesn't touch, it never will.

That's close. No, I didn't go out to look at it with them. That would have been a good call.

Ended up going with the BFG Trail Terrain TA 255/55/r20. They look sharp and are supposedly best on highway with light Trail, which is most of my use case even if I want to be off road all the time 🫠
