Hmmm..
While at the dealer I see this awesome looking 2016 RR sport. V-8 510 hp.
I shouldn't have taken it for a test drive...Simply awesome ride and power.
Problem is I have mine for 11 months...Paid close to 70-K and was offered 54,000 on a trade.
So I would have to come up with almost 7-K in addition to my trade, but the 2016 has less than 11,000 miles, mine has 11-K already.
2016 comes with 5 years/100,000 mile warranty.
Why do they offer a longer warranty on a used car than a new car?
Makes NO sense...
Also...I would take a 14,000 hit AND spend 7,000 more..
Tell me it's a horrible idea.

What I love in an SUV is that diesel torque. Add a performance tune and they are even better. My Pepper with a tune ate a Turbo to 40 where his 500HP kicked in. We talked after and he was quite surprised. Going fast and track performance? These are the wrong vehicle no matter how well they do given their power/weight and CG? I cannot see dumping gas in a SUV any more. I sadly could not go but the wife got 31mpg going to CO today just 68-73mph on 65mph US50 [lots of cops!].

We wanted the extra space and 3rd row on the D5, besides the RRS was more than we wanted to spend (especially the V8 SC). They do look sweet and tempting though. I prefer the U in SUV on the D5 vs the S in SUV of the RRS (especially that sweet 510 HP V8). I declined to do a test drive in the RRS V8 as would have been too tempting, and besides it is my wife's daily driver(and she has a lead foot)
