Default Oil and filters for TD6?

Have about 1,000 miles till oil change and plan on changing it when I get back from Africa in a couple weeks. What’s the spec of the oil and anyone know best place to order oil/filter online?

Check the owners manual. Ever heard of Walmart/Auto Zone,Amazon? Atlantic British? I don't believe LR uses magic oil and filters these days but who knows, maybe they do.

Sorry, I didn’t pack my manuals with me to climb Kilimanjaro and go on safari. I have heard of this Walmart and autozone you speak of. If you go and look at their limited selection you’re saying I can find oil with the specific spec for the td6?! That’s amazing because in the past THEY’ve never had it and you’re just here trying to be an ***.

Not trying to be an

...relax.

If you packed a laptop you can easily find oil and a filter at an online retailer or a phone number to the dealership service department you bought it from. If I had time I would search more but I'm leaving out of Cape Town for Tristan da Cunha in a few hours and I need to shower first.
