Default How to check oil level?

Worst design in the world. What are the requirements to check the oil. I know to push the start button to power it then go to vehicle info and click on oil but it keeps saying not available, engine isn’t running. Is there a time limit after running it?

I think after 15 minutes, you should be able to display the oil level.

If it is working correctly. If the sending unit in the oil pan fails it will always say you need to add oil.

1-Level ground.
2-Engine at running temp.
3-Wait 20 minutes or so if engine has been running.
