Not at all, thats what the forum is for.

Harbor Freight has steel ramps. Use low range and crawl up on the ramps. use a spotter if you don't want to hang out the door like a crazy man like I do! lol

I'm not against top extraction. I prefer letting everything out the bottom. Plus you can inspect everything underneath and get to know it.

I'm for the 1000 miles oil change for break in.

Do not use JLR's oil change interval. Change between 5-7 thousand miles. Period. cheap insurance.

Be mindful of your air filter/filters if you do alot of dusty trail riding.

Enjoy your rig, and welcome to the forum!

Before you buy ramps try this.
Jack at rear jack point high enough to put a jack stand under the front point on same side.
then repeat on other side. Then I also leave the jack under rear jack point with just a few pounds load as a safety backup.
I won’t go under vehicle without jack stands with it in off road raised position. I just don’t trust that it could not decide to lower itself even if the door is open.
I do just change my oil now by vacuum from the small tube beneath the oil fill cap. I get the same amount out as I do by using the drain plug.
When I want to get all 4 wheels in the air I follow the previous procedure then jack the back two wheels by raising them with the jack beneath the rear differential. Some people say not to do this but it is pretty solid and I have done that for years with every vehicle I have owned. Then jack stands beneath the rear jack points.
By the way the official jack points with factory running boards are the running board mounting brackets.
I have also jacked a corner and carefully placed a stand under that corner’s suspension but it is difficult and I don’t like it. The suspension takes up some of the lift and it is difficult to get a jack stand that close to a wheel and stable with a good grip.
Also before you buy ramps you might just consider buying a second floor jack. Not necessary but certainly handy. I never was happy with ramps and gave mine away.

Surprisingly easy, especially if you have someone guiding you. I'm using these Rhino ramps. Plenty of width and weight capacity. $51

One thing about using ramps for an oil change: After running the engine to get the truck on the ramps you may want to let it sit for awhile before draining the oil. Not sure if it really matters but I've always thought you need to wait and let it drain back down to the sump after running it.
