I am back to JLR and love the 2019 Discovery V TD6 HSE Lux we got. Amazing. But I am so confused on the Incontrol concept. Is connected navigation a separate fee after so long? In other words, how do I get the online searching etc within the built in navigation system? And is the route planner App have another fee? Or if I simply activate the At&T mobile data plan and wift hotspot does that allow the navigation to go online and use satellite maps and 360 dregree street view?
In short do I need the AT7T to be activated and pay the $200 a year to get all the features or is there a separate "connected navigation" service directly from JLR that uses the cars other SIM card?

In short, yes. You will need the data plan.
If you decide to go that route, go on the ATT connected car web site, input your VIN and you will get a price and details. You probably have a SIM already in the module.
I think 2019 still have a SIM. If you were on later models, it would be an eSIM and it would be about 150 $ more expensive than ATT, and a night mare to get it operational.
