Default InControl ver 19A

Saw in another thread someone had 19A installed. Couldn't find release notes specifically to D5, but figure these will be somewhat similar?

Default Download Over WiFi?

I had heard that future updates could be downloaded over WiFi after 18D. Does anybody know if 19A can be downloaded?

I’ll have to check on Monday when I get back from the mountains.

I had heard the same thing, but the new version 19A doesn't show up as a new version under my settings.

I'm on 18D since 3 weeks.

Thanks for checking. Mine is the same. It would have been nice to not have to go back to the dealer for another update.

That's a bummer for me MY '17. I'd be interested to hear what the required hardware is...

I assume it's updated infotainment board, antenna, wifi, etc and possibly the ECU to allow the overwrites.

I'll msg JLR for specifics...

During the 3 weeks(!) at the dealership to fix issues with the second seat row, they updated the software package of our MY18. Below 2 screenshots. I assume that the Telematics software version update is what was discussed here above. I can successfully check for InControl Touch, but the Telematics gets stuck in "searching for updates....."

What’s new in this? I think I’m on 17c or whatever it is where Apple CarPlay came in. I have a 17 disco. Don’t really know if any update is needed.
