During the 3 weeks(!) at the dealership to fix issues with the second seat row, they updated the software package of our MY18. Below 2 screenshots. I assume that the Telematics software version update is what was discussed here above. I can successfully check for InControl Touch, but the Telematics gets stuck in "searching for updates....."
Same here on the over the air update....never loads up.I'm on 19-A as well.
I'm a bit confused. If I have 19A, would it then use the AT&T SIM card to do the updates?
I don't have the AT&T service, I've let it lapse, don't really feel I need it.
I do have wifi at home, or my phone's cellular connected to it - could I then do updates that way?
The updates should happen over wifi if you have it connected to wifi. It seems however you need the D5 enabled via Topix to be able to get the updates. It may only be available in the UK, but even then it seems hit or miss.
Very little consistent information on auto update. I suspect it will take a while to get sorted out.
