Hi, I have a new 2022 Discovery HSE R-Dynamic and I've been told that the Intelligent seat fold functionality in the InControl App has been removed from the 2022 model - has anyone else also had this ?

 

I don't think it's related to your model year. There was a new LR app launched a couple of years ago. The old app did intelligent search fold. The new one doesn't. True on my 2018 too
Both apps ran in parallel for a while - not sure if old one is discontinued now?

 

Old app still works. It's my goto as its more reliable than the new app. I can't speak to the seat folding as we're one of rare 5 seaters on here! Only reason I have the new app is for the watch; handy when phone is buried in a pack.

 

old app still works and the folding function works like a charm.

 

New app is equivalent to the old app in my tests but even the old can't fold the seats on a 22.

I don't remember remote folding from the app was even listed in the online build descriptions for the 22 year.

 

When we bought our 2017 new, folding from the app was a standard feature if you had the electric third row, but IIRC in newer models the folding from app became a separate option (Intelligent Seat Fold).

Can the old app still be downloaded somewhere?
