Keyless Entry Doesn't Like Daylight
It seems my keyless entry buttons don't like daylight (same with hands free lift gate).
In my garage, or when in lower light, pushing the door button invariably locks the doors. Same with putting my hand into the handle to unlock).
But when in good daylight, it's about 50/50 I can use touch to lock the doors and about 75/25 to unlock them.
The keyfob buttons works fine.
is this normal? Is there a sensitivity adjustment?
Thanks!

Using the indented touch button on the door handle. When it works. When it doesn't I use the key fob.

Maybe I asked it wrong.
Out of the three locking choices you have, which choice are you using?
normal lock?
passive lock?
Superlock?
How old is your main battery?
What year model is your D5?
( note with any Land Rover, when strange things happen, 9 out of 10 times, its time to change main battery)

I highly doubt light and dark has any effect on it.
Try fresh battery's in your key fobs. I know you don't use key fob buttons, but if your key fob is not in correct range and or strong enough signal, it could be causing the issue.

I don't really see how light would affect it, but the fact is it works fine when in low light and only is a problem when in daylight.
