Are you sure? I don't think there is any Land Rover warranty that gives you the full same terms as original factory for an extended period. The LR service dept has a sheet with a very specific list of what is and is not covered. In general it's very good and plenty is covered. And they usually flex a bit. But there are plenty of items that are excluded.
Yes. I dug into that with JLR to make sure it was the same as new warranty. Mine has extended warranty that I inherited and left me with 3 years of coverage when I got it. It’s not an extra warranty tacked on later. It was sold twice before me. 1st owner had regular warranty and traded in after a year. Dealer then CPO’d with warranty extension, and that guy traded in on an early Defender. When I bought it there was not an extra warranty added - the remaining original stuff just transferred to me with the car. It was an unusual amount of warranty remaining, which is a big reason I bought this one.
Interesting. I extended my warranty by a year when I bought. I assumed that was like a CPO extension. But even better if it's just a continuation of factory.
