Default Leaking windshield.

Anyone else encounter this in the disco ?

Unfortunately the dealer can’t see us until after Christmas and as we can park in the garage it doesn’t help for driving about or parking

my concern is mildew or mold. Something I can already smell.

anyone else deal with this ? How was the dealer with the mildew smell?

2018 lease so at least it won’t be our problem down the road. :-(

It is a well know issue on 2017/2018 models, just search this forum. One person put some tape on the outside of the windshield along the top and sides where it meets the body, seem to have stopped the leaking. May be a good temp fix to prevent further water ingress till they can fix it.

thanks.

I saw the other posts and saw that the most popular one was closed.

I did a 2” tape job across the top and half way down the sides but water is still making its way in.

As crazy as it sounds the windshield has a slight give to it.

talk about shotty QC.

I’ll apply some more tape to the $65,000 vehicle with 7000 miles on it 🤣🤣🤣
