Default First post! New 2018 Disco!

I just got a new 2018 discovery on Monday and I'm loving it! Thanks for all the info y'all have shared here. I will definitely miss my 2006 LR3. Many great memories there!
Stoked to have the rear locker, trailer hitch, roof rails, and lux package with only 37k miles... It was incredibly well taken care of 🤩

Nice D5. Looks like my 2017. I also went from a 2006 LR3 bought new to a 2017 D5. The 2017 is a much better vehicle for multiple reasons (power, transmission, sunroof, seats, heating and A/C, fuel economy, etc.). But I still miss my LR3.

Somehow managed to go back out to Snoopers Rock exactly a year later 😂 I despised the LR4 to Discovery V transformation at the time, but the look has really grown on me since picking one up in 2022 after turning in the '06 LR3. Refined lines, sporty, rugged, and I no longer think it needs to look like it could cross Africa like the LR3 did. The kiddos love sitting on the tailgate 👌

Looks great! Just picked up mine in December and transitioned from a Wrangler. So much better with kids - it’s quiet and such a nicer drive on long road trips but I feel like I can still do 99% of what I was doing with my Jeep. Really excited to bring it off-road in Vermont this spring, just put on some bigger tires and the lift rods last week.
