Hi, just wanted to thank everyone for the wealth of info I've gathered from the 40+ pages on here. I picked up a clean well maintained Td6 from a local BMW dealer and was able to give it a quick oil air and fuel filter change with help from these pages. Next im going to service the different and then attempt the trans filter. Anyone done the trans yet? Future plans are 275/55 bfgs and a front runner rack. Family and I will be all over New England and the East Coast this summer towing our Opus Camper. I'll post pics when I'm able.

I'm going to hook it to my Opus this week for a test tow. I'll get some pics. Just installed my Redarc brake controller so I need to try it out.

 

Oh man, the Opus look amazing, enjoy the test pull, camp and bevvy. Those dang Australians eh?

 

The Aussie's are a bad influence when it comes to vehicle based camping. The South Africans don’t help either!
