New owner, 2018 Discovery HSE LIUX TD6 55K.
I have never put any additives to my gas powered cars, never! I hear with diesels, it is a little different and additives maybe recommended to extend engine life, prevent buildup and filters clogging, fuel jellying when cold, and etc.

By the way, I researched it and I am settling on Exxon's "synergy diesel" #2 (this is what I found as best option here in the North East US) - first tank refill today and plan to stick with this brand than filling from random gas stations around.

Just curious if any diesels owners can recommend any additives. Do you add anything to your diesels?

Personally I do not use additives.

I tried the Exon Premium Diesel. ( tested against Race track) Found zero difference. Not worth the difference in cost.

Just get it out on the highway at least once a week and run it at speed for 20 - 30 minutes. It will keep the DPF properly cleaned.
