Default Normal Height Only

Disco 5. 18 plate. 50000 miles.
I am getting the “normal height only” warning come up after about 5 minutes of driving and my suspension switch turns off.
when I start the car the suspension works perfectly well and the car ride height is fine.
has anyone else had this.
my car is now out of warranty and LR want £225 just to diagnose the fault.

Sounds like your compressor is going out. Need to read codes to confirm.

Something similar happened to ours under warranty. The dealer replaced the air tank since it had a crack.

You need to pull codes. The code I was getting was filling too slowly, or something to that effect. On mine, there was a crack in the plastic connector that connects the pump to the airline. It sits on the side of the pump cover and is a part that you can get from the dealer. You will also need to replace the push fit connectors as they are a consumable. I can get into a lot more detail if this is something you want to tackle, but the price of a new pump assembly is $800-$1200 and I wanted to see what I could do before I spent the money.
