Phone won't connect after software upgrade

Default Phone won't connect after software upgrade

We had our 17 at the dealer where they update the software. Now our phones will connect audio, but the phones won't. Is there something that changed in the latest updates that wotn allow bt phones to connect?

I’m having a slightly different issue. Since updating with CarPlay, there are times when my Bluetooth just stops playing and won’t respond to the car. If I try to disconnect from the car’s menu, it hangs. The only fix so far seems to be to turn off the Bluetooth on my phone, restart the car, wait for everything to boot up, then turn off car, turn on Bluetooth, and restart car.

I’m taking it in Wednesday to see if a TCU update will fix my InControl Remote app issue. I’m going to ask about the Bluetooth problem, too.

I'm going in soon for another software upgrade,,,I got a LR new car survey and let them know it isn't the greatest...

I got the car back tonight. I haven't had a chance to really test it fully. I also mentioned to the dealer that I was having issues with bluetooth dropping and Apple CarPlay not working if using the Remote app to start the car (originally in for Remote App not working 100% of the time). The service folks said a new SW update came out mid-Dec. They upgraded my SW and said it should fix the issues I was seeing. The new SW is 18D, but I haven't had it long enough to see if anything is working completely as it should. I'll report back over the weekend when I've had a chance to really test everything.

I just picked my D5 up last Thursday and the same issue here.
The dealer thinks I am a moron and cannot figure how to pair the phone...
They want me to come in on Friday to show me how to do it... I am so pissed.
It worked before they did the update. Now it doesn't seems like an easy correlation.

Same here, I just got mine back today...Won't connect the phone. On top of that...The acell lag is stgill there. The opened a ticket with LR...big deal....This is after I forwarded the email from LR saying they were working on a fix already.
I'm starting to think these dealers have no F'n clue,
